There are no deep, complex words needed to describe the philosophy behind my art. I simply shoot for peoples’ appreciation, if not for the thought that went into a piece, then maybe the degree of difficulty, and sometimes just to get a chuckle or two. Art is about life and nature. I decided to teach others the secrets behind how I make Living Tree Art for two reasons. Living Tree Art is a nightmare in cost to ship by common carrier, and I found out while demonstrating at the World of Concrete trade show that I enjoy teaching. All of the trees reflected on Living Tree Art Home page that incorporate living or once living plants as foliage were sold within a 50 mile radius in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As far as I know, they are the first of their kind anywhere in the world. From my perspective, Living Tree Art is currently on the bottom line of a full-on, wide open, totally untapped market, and I look forward to sharing it.
